A man’s due in court today following the discovery of a large-scale cannabis factory in Southrepps, North Norfolk earlier this week.
Police officers attended a property in the village on Tuesday where they uncovered a substantial number of cannabis plants. The total estimated value of the find is in excess of £100,000.

During the operation, a man was arrested at the scene and taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. Following further enquiries, Rafal Soltys, 36, of Dove Close, Warrington, was charged with production of cannabis and abstraction of electricity.
He has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning.
In a related development, a second man was arrested outside the county on Wednesday, on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. He is currently being held at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre while investigations continue.
