Cromer Jewellery Shop Hit by Second Theft in Two Months

Bentons Jewellers in Hamilton Road, Cromer, has been targeted by thieves for the second time in just two months.

Police were called to the store at 1.14pm on Wednesday after a man and a woman reportedly entered the premises and stole a piece of jewellery.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that enquiries are ongoing and officers are reviewing CCTV footage as part of the investigation.

This latest incident follows a previous break-in on 8 July, during which the shop’s front door sustained significant damage.

In a statement, Bentons Jewellers reassured customers that personal items left for repair or valuation remain safe and accounted for.
