John, who had been diagnosed with the disease in April 2023, initially had stage three cancer, which later progressed to stage four during treatment. Despite brief remission in November 2023, the cancer returned in May 2024, spreading to his brain. A chemotherapy complication led to organ failure just before Christmas, but he temporarily recovered to spend the holiday at home with his wife.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Lorna Luxe wrote: “My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.” She thanked the district nurses who cared for John, singling out Anna, his favourite nurse, for her compassion.
The couple, who had no children, were married for 16 years and lived in a £2.5 million home in Warwickshire. John, 21 years older than Lorna, had supported her rise as an influencer and entrepreneur, helping her navigate early financial challenges and build her career.
Tributes have poured in from fellow influencers and celebrities. Sophie Hinchliffe wrote on Instagram: “The love you and John share has always been so inspiring and it always will be… Sending you so much love, Lorna. Millions of us are here to help hold you up.” Reality TV star Molly-Mae Hague, model Abbey Clancy, and former TOWIE star Lauren Pope also expressed condolences online.

Lorna Luxe had previously opened up about facing widowhood in her 40s and shared her journey publicly with her 1.6 million followers, providing updates on her husband’s health and cancer treatment.
