So, when do schools break up? Here are the official term dates for Norfolk for the 2025–2026 academic year, according to Norfolk County Council.
Autumn term 2025
Schools will break up for the October half term on Friday, October 24.
Children will return to class on Monday, November 3, and stay in school until the Christmas holidays, which begin on Friday, December 19.
Spring term 2026
The spring term begins on Tuesday, January 6.
The February half term runs from Monday, February 16 to Friday, February 20.
Pupils’ next break will be the Easter holiday, from Monday, March 30 to Monday, April 13.
Summer term 2026
The summer term starts on Tuesday, April 14.
There will be a day off for the early May bank holiday on Monday, May 4, and the May half term will fall between Monday, May 25 and Friday, May 29.
Schools will break up for the summer holidays on Friday, July 17.
