Residents across the county can now access at least 90 per cent outdoor coverage, with key hubs established in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, King’s Lynn and Thetford. The upgraded network is available at no extra cost for O2 customers using compatible devices.
Dr Robert Joyce, O2’s director of mobile access engineering, said:
“We are investing £2 million every day to strengthen our mobile network and deliver a more reliable experience for customers. Expanding our 5G Standalone network to Norfolk means better service for local people, and we’re excited about the opportunities it will unlock.
“This customer-centred rollout is designed to futureproof our network and pave the way for the next wave of user-driven innovation.
