The National Care Forum (NCF), the leading association for not-for-profit social care, will host its annual Leadership Summit on Tuesday, 14 October at Convene on Bishopsgate, London. Headline sponsored by Marr Procurement, the event will bring together senior leaders from across the sector to explore how innovation and digital transformation can strengthen care provision while improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Among the confirmed speakers are Amy Carmichael, Head of Digital Strategy, Innovation and Skills for Adult Social Care Tech, and Emma Donnelly, Strategy Lead for Adult Social Care Tech Policy at the Department of Health and Social Care. They will be joined by Liz Ashall-Payne, founder of the Organisation for the Review of Health and Care Apps (ORCHA); Dr Annemarie Naylor, Director of HealthTech and Innovation Growth at the University of Liverpool’s Civic Health Innovation Labs; and Katie Thorn, Digital Project Lead at the Digital Care Hub.
Vic Rayner OBE, CEO of NCF, said the summit will help the sector visualise its digital future.
“Together with the NCF team, I am looking forward to working with our members to visualise the digital future of care and support,” she said. “We have spent many years building partnerships with technology suppliers and developing international connections to understand how the digital agenda is transforming care globally. These insights are essential in shaping future opportunities for care in the UK.”
Rayner added that the event’s expert speakers will provide valuable guidance for care organisations at all stages of their digital journey.
“We are particularly delighted to welcome Liz Ashall-Payne, founder of ORCHA, who will share practical strategies for building confidence in digital and AI solutions, exploring how transparent evaluation, ethical data use, and clear communication can build trust, improve outcomes, and unlock the full potential of technology.”
Christoph Marr, Managing Director of Marr Procurement, said his company was proud to continue its long-standing partnership with NCF.
“We are proud to be headline sponsors for the National Care Forum’s Leadership Summit, following an extremely rewarding 10-year relationship,” he said. “This year’s event is vital as providers visualise the digital future of care and support. Given the significant cost pressures facing care providers, we will be sharing practical ways to reduce operating costs without compromising on care or quality.”
The Leadership Summit is expected to attract senior figures from across the not-for-profit care sector, highlighting collaboration, innovation, and resilience as the sector continues to adapt to growing demands and digital change.
